Great Developers
Nubie: Most blogs dealing with software development are concerned about hiring great developers. You can see a good blog at “The Mindset”.
He identifies “Commitment” as the key to become great developer. Also he identifies “openness, sharing and mentoring” as doors to be opened using this key. He is quite right, I think.
Guru: The worls is only sparsely populated with geniuses. There is no reason to believe that the software engineering community has an inordinately large proportion of them.
So as The Mindset said, mentoring by genuises will make good developers great. “Follow the Master”.
